VOLUNTEER WITH CYCLING ON PURPOSE
Help more kids ride

You don’t have to be an expert cyclist to make a difference.

Cycling On Purpose is growing, and we’re building a community of adults and older students who can help kids ride safely, build confidence, take on bigger challenges, and feel like they belong.

Whether you want to ride with the Bike Bus, help with Youth Cycling, work on bikes, or lend a hand at events, there’s probably a place for you.

WHAT MATTERS MOST
Show up. Put safety first. Help kids succeed.

You don’t need racing experience, an expensive bike, or a coaching certification to volunteer with Cycling On Purpose.

We’re looking for dependable people who work well with kids, encourage rather than intimidate, take safety seriously, and want to help create the kind of cycling community young people want to stay part of.

Regular adult volunteers should expect appropriate screening and youth-safety training before working with riders. We’ll provide more information about role-specific requirements as our programs and volunteer team take shape.

High-school Junior Ride Mentors will support younger riders, but they will not replace adult supervision or count toward adult-to-rider ratios.
